Who I support
I offer confidential one-to-one counselling for adults. My years in teaching and educational leadership mean I have a particular understanding of the pressures of school life, but you do not need to work in education to work with me.
- Teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders and other education staff
- Trainee and newly qualified teachers finding their feet
- Adults from any background, whether or not you work in education
- Anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout
- Bereavement, relationship difficulties and periods of change
- Questions of identity, self-worth and what comes next
In-person sessions take place in a quiet, private counselling room in Edgbaston, convenient for Harborne, Selly Oak, Moseley, the city centre and the universities. The exact address is shared when we arrange your first appointment. Online sessions are also available.
Sessions last 50 minutes and cost £55. The initial consultation is free, with no obligation to continue. I am a trainee psychotherapist (Trainee-MUPCA and trainee member of UKCP), working under regular clinical supervision.
