Counselling in Birmingham

Counselling in Birmingham

Confidential counselling for people who live or work in Birmingham, in person or online.

Who I support

I offer confidential one-to-one counselling for adults. My years in teaching and educational leadership mean I have a particular understanding of the pressures of school life, but you do not need to work in education to work with me.

  • Teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders and other education staff
  • Trainee and newly qualified teachers finding their feet
  • Adults from any background, whether or not you work in education
  • Anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout
  • Bereavement, relationship difficulties and periods of change
  • Questions of identity, self-worth and what comes next

I see clients in person at a private counselling room in Edgbaston, easy to reach from across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. If travelling is difficult, or you would prefer to meet from home, online sessions work just as well. The exact address is shared when we arrange your first appointment.

Sessions last 50 minutes and cost £55. The initial consultation is free, with no obligation to continue. I am a trainee psychotherapist (Trainee-MUPCA and trainee member of UKCP), working under regular clinical supervision.
